We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our small team. We are a small business but focused on delivering world class web technologies.
You must have an appropriate tertiary qualification and a minimum 5 years Java development experience.
- Solid understanding of OO design, development principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of current software development methodologies (e.g. Agile) and unit testing practices
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills and a Creative thinker
- Solid JAVA/J2EE development experience working with high volume solutions
- Production support and deployment (SVN, Maven)
- Ensure the project is properly documented
- A proven production background in;
- Struts and Spring
- Hibernate
- JSP
- XML (including XSLT)
- MySQL Development and Clustering production expertise
- Experience with Linux operating system
Additionally, experience with IRC, Flash Server, SOAP web services, Web frameworks and AJAX-based architecture technologies are a plus.
